Freedom Christian Co-Op is a Christ-centered homeschool community where families come together to honor the Lord, build lasting relationships, and grow alongside one another. With a strong emphasis on community, structure, and commitment, we value families who are looking to invest, serve, and belong.
Vision
Freedom Christian Co-op is called to support new and experienced home school families who are looking to connect, find encouragement, resources, and have a desire for their children to develop friendships with other home school children. We believe that in order to have a healthy corporation and co-op, we will need to serve each other, have a desire to grow, and a commitment to encourage one another.
What We Believe
Freedom Christian Homeschooling Corporation leadership and attendees believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and complete Word of God. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We understand that all men violate God’s righteousness requirements and holy character. We believe the purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man’s sin through His substitutionary death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent, visible, bodily resurrection. We believe that salvation is a gift from God to all those who repent and believe. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that God created men and women in His image and in the biblical institution of marriage between a man and woman. We adhere to the Nashville Statement on gender roles and marriage.
Freedom Christian Homeschooling Corporation’s policy is to be a Christian witness that will glorify God.
Note: We do not all come to Freedom under the same denominational beliefs, but we do however, major on the majors and leave detailed doctrinal issues to be discussed at home with the parents. The above, however, IS our major core beliefs and is what will be encouraged and/or taught in classes as it applies.
A Shared Understanding
Freedom Christian recognizes that we may not always agree with each other, share the same opinions, or have the same ideas, but we all want to further God’s Kingdom and this Corporation/Co-op’s Vision. Let us make sure we prayerfully consider all that we do and say. We want to be a blessing to one another and ask that we come to each other with differences in love and let grace abound.
